Da Silva Vineyard and Winery is a family operated, premium winery located on the Naramata Bench in Penticton, BC. Since 1955, our family has been farming in the Okanagan and continues to work closely with our family growers. Our steadfast commitment to producing the best wines starts in the vineyards and continues to all departments, including our Tasting Room.
We have an opportunity for a full-time and part time Tasting Room Associates for our 2022 season. If you have a love for premium wine, a passion for the highest customer service standards and want to be part of a small, premium winery team, we would love to hear from you.
Main roles and responsibilities
· Greeting visitors and educating guests about the Da Silva portfolio of wines
· Pouring and describing the Da Silva Wines, the vineyards and company history while maintaining the highest standards of customer experience.
· Focus on sales and supporting the company objective to enroll customers into the Wine Club
· Maintaining product inventory and tasting room cleanliness
· Opening and closing the tasting room and being part of cleaning routine
Skills and attributes:
· Candidates must have a positive attitude and willingness to maintain the highest standard of customer experience
· Must be pro-active to ensure the tasting room guest experience is maintained at all times
· Willingness to work weekends/Holidays and be open to a flexible schedule during the peak season
· Candidates require Serving it Right certificate
· Previous wine shop or tasting room experience is considered an asset, but training will be provided to candidates with no experience
· Must be able to lift 40lbs and stand for extended periods of time
