Wine Club Manager (Wine Jobs: Management & Administration)

Little Engine Wines, located in Penticton British Columbia is one of Canada’s most celebrated luxury wine brands.

We are looking for a highly motivated and dedicated individual to manage our wine club program. This position will allow for two to three months off during the winter season and provides competitive pay and benefits based on experience.

This individual will be hospitality and marketing driven and will focus their efforts on providing “White Glove” service to our membership base, and expanding our membership through innovative, professional marketing. 

 Role & Responsibilities:

 ·       Providing front line customer service to wine club members.

·       Establish and maintain contact with wine club members providing support, assisting with wine selection, upselling, and increasing brand loyalty (via events, email, and phone)

·       Variety of data entry responsibilities to support the wine clubs and E-commerce function (i.e., new member signups, member data updates, member orders etc.)

·       Coordinate with leadership team in development of wine club offerings and promotional programs.

·       Support the training of hospitality team members.

·       Coordinate with leadership team to plan, schedule, develop, and manage wine club events (including wine club gatherings)

·       Key contributor to maintaining and improving on-site customer experience.

·       Carry regular managerial shifts in our tasting room.

 

Skills and Experience Required:

·       Two or more years of experience in fine wine marketing, sales, and hospitality

·       Post-secondary diploma in marketing, business, or hospitality; wine Knowledge/Education an asset

·       Understanding of the E-commerce retail marketplace

·       Prior tasting room and wine club management experience preferred

·       Computer skills to manage shipping, wine club software, and social media systems.

·       An eye for branding and design

·       Ability to lift 40 lbs and work on your feet for 8 hours per day

·       Wine Knowledge and experience: WSET 2 or equivalent

Compensation & Benefits

·       Hourly wage between $20 -$30/hr. based on experience.

·       Gratuities and wine allotment
