Unique wines provide unique opportunities, and this is one such opportunity. Little Engine Wines is seeking a self starter, motivated sales professional to help us grow and expand our B2B business segment.

We are one of Canada’s most respected, premium artisan wine producers. As we continue to grow we are relaunching the Little Engine Brand in Alberta, Manitoba, and Saskatchewan. This is step one, in our national growth strategy.  This is a new sales strategy, that will build a territory both virtually and with annual visits to key sales areas. We are looking for candidates who have excellent sales abilities, are highly motivated, articulate and have excellent computer skills.

An absolute self starter, this individual is passionate about helping build a brand in an untapped territory. They will build and foster great relationships, will immerse themselves in our story and convey our message with actual customer deliverables, both digitally, and in person.  We are looking for someone with the desire and skills to be part of building our brand.

What are the requirements for this position?

§  A passion for wine, has completed a minimum of WSET level 2 and has worked in either the restaurant or agency industry.

§  Knowledge in the liquor sales industry preferred as well as minimum 3 years of outside sales experience.

§  Strength in sales with excellent written and verbal communication. Skilled presenter with ability to adapt to audiences.

§  Tech-savy and comfortable with all basic computer skills

§  College or university degree in business/tourism/marketing an asset.

§  Ability to effectively communicate to Wine Experts/Sommeliers during presentations/events.

§  Ability to offer unique marketing strategies to promote winery through events and trade shows.


This position comes with a competitive compensation including base salary, bonus structure, business trip allowance. Group benefits will ensue after 3 months and your first quarterly review. Preference will be given to candidates with industry experience and wine education (WSET).
