Job Description:
We are currently recruiting for a passionate, self-motivated and goal oriented individual to fill the position of part-time Sales Associate in Red Deer, Alberta. The Role:
Working three days per week the role of Sales Associate in Red Deer is responsible for customer development and ensuring Arterra Wines Canada maintains and grows sales and profits while achieving sales and revenue objectives. Execute retail sales program in the field.
Your key responsibilities and duties are as follows:
- Manage smaller territory sales coverage; visit customers, sell booking sheets, negotiate displays and floor space with independent stores, execute planogram, explore new small-business opportunities, build displays, ensure profitable product mix is proposed.
- Ensure all customers maintain current thematics with proper use of material, pricing, displays, new products, promotional activity and listing base and all elements included in contracts with chains, such as planogram, floor space, activities, etc.
- Maintain client records, administrative follow-up and maintain activity log in SFDC system.
- Build and maintain relationships with customers to ensure ongoing and increased market growth of Arterra Wines Canada products.
- Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned or required.
Job Requirements:
- A University Degree or Comparable (Primary Focus on Business, Sales and/or Marketing)
- A track record of success in a similar role with a minimum of 1 years of experience.
- Valid Drivers License
- WSET or ISG Certification an asset.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Proven problem solving and negotiation skills with a demonstrated ability to deal effectively with customers and peers.
- Results oriented, self-motivated, driven and disciplined.
- Computer literacy, including the ability to create and modify PowerPoint presentations, Word and Excel documents as well as effectively utilize web-based tools and resources.
- Genuine interest and passion for the beverage alcohol industry
- Must reside within, or in close proximity to the general area of the sales territory.
- Must be able to lift wine cases weighing up to 45 pounds.
