Schedule A: PRODUCT CONSULANT/ASSISTANT MANAGER JOB DESCRIPTION

 

Store Location: Metro Liquor, Saskatoon and Regina

 

The duties of Product Consultant/Assistant Manager for Metro shall include, but not be limited to management of the day to day operations and particularly product management of Metro, Saskatoon or Regina, including:

 

* Product consultation, product portfolio and product management, in conjunction with the store manager

* Sales and pricing to meet stated gross margin targets

* Ordering stock

* Inventory management and controls

* Receiving, loading and unloading

* Staffing and People Management

* Promotions and advertising

* Merchandising and store lay-out and aesthetics

* Assisting customers with product choices

* Staff training in wine, beer, spirits and food and drink pairing

* Support of all Metro policies and compliance with SLGA and government regulations and policies

* Support to the store manager and serving as Acting Manager when the Manager is not in the store.

 

 

Compensation:

 

 

Approx. Forty-Five to Fifty-five Thousand ($45,000-$55,000) Dollars per year, depending on experience.

 

 

*Note: this role could evolve into a hybrid sales role with Metro’s wholesale business and also include sales bonus/commission
