Company Description: The Glen at Crossmount is a one-of-a-kind agricultural tourism destination in Saskatchewan and home to the Crossmount Cider Company. With 40 acres of land, a 15 acre apple orchard, and an all-season greenhouse surrounded by housing, the Glen is a unique outdoor experience in the province of Saskatchewan.

Crossmount Cider Company is looking for a full time Assistant Cider Maker to join our team in Saskatoon, SK! Reporting to the Head Cider Maker, our Assistant Cider Maker is responsible for assisting the Head Cider Maker in daily operations

Specific Job Duties:

• Performs duties in accordance with company SOPs.

• Maintains attendance and punctuality per company policy.

• Supports the safeguarding of raw materials for quality assurance.

• Works with the Head Cider Maker throughout the fermentation, blending, racking and packaging process.

• Assists in loading and unloading trucks; use of a lift truck as needed.

• Clean and fill kegs.

• Filtering and Carbonation

• Performs equipment maintenance.

• Performs required sanitation and CIP (Clean In Place).

• Performs regular housekeeping for all cidery areas.

• Laboratory testing for QA/QC

• Performs other duties as assigned throughout the Cidery to assist other team members as needed to accomplish goals.

• Provide assistance in other areas in the absence of another team member

• Perform other related duties as assigned

Position Requirements:

• No previous experience required, but a coursework in a science discipline is preferred.

• Commitment to sanitation

• Forklift experience preferred.

• A passion for fermenting, blending and the finishing stage of cider production.

• Attention to detail and patience for the Cider Making process to achieve high standards of quality.

• Mechanical or electrical troubleshooting experience preferred.

• A willingness to contribute to all areas of the cidery as needed with a positive attitude.
