CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE MANAGER

Full Time Seasonal |  Sage Hayward Vineyards, Saturna Island BC

Sage Hayward Vineyards is a family-owned estate winery on Saturna Island.  Our goal is to become BC’s top wine destination, based on excellence in our wines, our Bistro, and our customer experience.  As a group, all of us at Sage Hayward Vineyards pursue excellence in each area of our endeavours.  We would welcome someone who embraces this attitude to manage our Bistro and Tasting Room, with a clear focus on creating superlative customer experiences.  The position is Full Time Seasonal with Part Time hours available through the winter.

The Customer Experience Manager will:

·       Schedule and supervise staff in the Bistro and Tasting Room;

·       Refine Standard Operating Procedures for the Bistro and Tasting Room and ensure all staff are thoroughly trained;

·       Manage reservations (phone and internet bookings) as well as dock reservations for boaters;

·       Encourage sales of wines and wine club memberships to reach monthly targets;

·       Track operations to ensure Key Performance Indicators are met;

·       Maintain accurate inventory records for the Bistro, Tasting Room and merchandise area; and

·       Assist with Wine Club shipments.

·       The position is managerial, supervisory and administrative, but requires a hands-on approach in all areas of responsibility.
