As we look towards the future, we aim to increase our brands’ visibility. To help us achieve this, we're seeking dynamic and forward-thinking Wine Sales Representatives to join our team and work within this rapidly growing and exciting industry. You will be responsible for creating a lasting impression among our customers, and improving product sales and market share. The ideal candidate will have a total commitment to establishing the reputation of our Wine brands as a market leader, in terms of quality in the Canadian wine industry.
WHO YOU ARE
MUST have connections/established relationships in hospitality or wine industry
MUST HAVE Serve-It-Right certificate, WSET an asset
A strong understanding of wine and the industry
Excellent communication skills in both oral and written English.
Ability to regularly lift/move up to 40 pounds
Self-motivated attitude, with a mindset to take feedback and grow in the position and contribute to the success of the company long term.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Building and maintaining relationships with private liquor stores and restaurants.
Maintaining a deep knowledge for each client in the portfolio and an ability to passionately articulate the key points on each wine in the portfolio.
Maintaining close communication with the portfolio manager and other sales personnel to effectively and realistically set and follow sales targets.
Planning and executing tastings and providing a professional and passionate representation of the presented wines
Contributing to social media presence and other marketing activities
Attending meetings, festivals, trade shows and other industry events as required
