Henry of Pelham Family Estate Winery was established with our first vintage in 1988. At that time we were one of a very few estate wineries dedicated to producing premium quality wines made from 100% Ontario grown grapes. Today, Henry of Pelham is a 200K+ case producer in Ontario’s Niagara Peninsula.

We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our team for the 2023 harvest (approx. end of August to end of November).  There is also potential spring/summer work available for candidates that are able to start prior to harvest.

Examples of Specific Duties/Responsibilities:

•          Cleaning and sterilizing winery equipment and tanks

•          Transferring, racking, blending wine/juice

•          Carrying out various additions/inoculations

•          Barrel operations: filling, racking, topping

•          Pump-overs, punch downs, red drain and presses

•          Maintain a safe, clean and organized cellar

Eligibility Requirements:

•          Strong communication skills and a positive attitude

•          Able to lift 25kg and able to work at heights

•          Willing to work shift hours and extended hours during harvest

 

Hourly wage based on previous experience and education

Overtime after 44 hours in a week

Onsite housing is available
