Henry of Pelham Family Estate Winery was established with our first vintage in 1988. At that time we were one of a very few estate wineries dedicated to producing premium quality wines made from 100% Ontario grown grapes. Today, Henry of Pelham is a 200K+ case producer in Ontario’s Niagara Peninsula.

Position: Harvest Cellarhand

Start date: September 6, 2022

Henry of Pelham is looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our team for the 2022 harvest (beginning of September to end of November). Ideal candidates will have familiarity with operations and use of equipment in production, preferably in a winery environment.

Duties/Responsibilities:

•              Cleaning and sterilizing winery equipment and tanks

•              Transferring, racking, blending wine/juice

•              Carrying out various additions/inoculations

•              Barrel operations: filling, racking, topping

•              Pump-overs, punch downs, red drain and presses

•              Maintain a safe, clean and organized cellar

Eligibility Requirements:

•              Strong communication skills and a positive attitude

•              Forklift training/license is a plus

•              Able to lift 25kg and able to work at heights

•              Willing to work shift hours and extended hours during harvest
