Production Staff - Full Time and Harvest Contract (Wine Jobs: Vineyards & Cellars )

Henry of Pelham Family Estate Winery was established with our first vintage in 1988. At that time we were one of a very few estate wineries dedicated to producing premium quality wines made from 100% Ontario grown grapes. Today, Henry of Pelham is a 200K+ case producer in Ontario’s Niagara Peninsula.

Henry of Pelham is looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our team. We currently have two roles available:

-Full-time, permanent cellar hand (Start date: Winter or Spring 2022)

-Contract harvest interns (Cellar, Lab, and Crush Pad positions available - approx. end August to end November)

 

Duties/Responsibilities:

-Cleaning and sterilizing winery equipment and tanks

-Transferring, racking, blending, and filtering wine

-Carrying out various additions

-Barrel operations: filling, racking, topping

-Maintain a safe, clean and organized cellar

 

Eligibility Requirements:

-Previous winery experience is an asset

-Strong communication skills and a positive attitude

-Problem solving skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team

-Able to lift 25kg and able to work at heights

-Willing to work shift hours and extended hours during harvest

-We require all staff members to be double vaccinated for COVID-19
