Ravine Vineyard is one of Niagara's leading family owned estate wineries. Our high standards of quality product and experiences are produced by employing a dynamic and passionate team. We are looking to add to our family with the position of Restaurant Assistant Manager.
The successful candidate must possess the following:
-2 years experience as a FOH manager at a Full Service Restaurant or the equivalent as an assistant manager, supervisor or team leader
-Strong willingness to learn and adapt and able to work unsupervised
-The ability to manage and motivate a team and thrive in a fast paced environment
-Exceptional attention to detail, time management and organization skills
-Love working on the floor with front line staff and engaging with guests
-Impeccable and proven customer service skills and a passion for the industry
-Ability to work days, nights and weekends
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
-Participate in welcoming guests as they arrive and creating relationships with our regulars
-ability to direct staff with sales techniques and overall service standards
-Report directly to the Restaurant Manager
-Ensure company standards and procedures are followed through by personnel
-Be a presence in the dining room with our guests and for our staff
-Ensure that the highest quality of food and service is delivered to our guests
-Control flow and direction of reservations and walk ins
-Be a team player with the management team
-Assist service staff during high occupancy times as needed
-Restaurant admin duties as assigned by the restaurant manager
