Our focus is on minimal intervention winemaking that allows each vineyard site to speak clearly in the glass. As a tight-knit and passionate team, we take pride in every detail—from vine to bottle—and we’re looking for someone who shares our dedication to excellence, curiosity, and love for the craft.

Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and hands-on Assistant Winemaker to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic, small-winery environment and is eager to be involved in all facets of winemaking—from harvest decisions to bottling and everything in between.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the Winemaker in all aspects of the winemaking process
  • Assist in vineyard sampling and grape maturity assessment
  • Coordinate and participate in all harvest activities including fruit processing, ferment management, and pressing
  • Oversee cellar operations including racking, transfers, additions, blending, and barrel work
  • Monitor fermentations and conduct regular lab analysis (Brix, pH, TA, etc.)
  • Maintain accurate production records and inventory
  • Assist with bottling preparation and execution
  • Uphold sanitation and safety protocols in the winery
  • Support occasional front-of-house needs such as events or educational tastings

Requirements:

  • Degree or diploma in Enology, Viticulture, or a related field
  • Minimum 3 years of winery or cellar experience
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work flexible hours, especially during harvest
  • Physically capable of lifting 50 lbs and working on your feet for extended periods
  • A passion for wine and a strong work ethic
  • Forklift certification is an asset
