Assistant Wine Shop Manager (Wine Jobs: Management & Administration)

  Summerland, British Columbia

Reporting to the Wine Shop Manager and Controller.

Provide exceptional hospitality that translates into wine sales, wine club enrollment and excellent guest experiences.

Provide consistent brand messaging to guests.

Assist with special events.

Assist the  Wine Shop Manager with all aspects of the daily operations.

Train, nuture and supervise staff in all aspects.

Assist with scheduling and maintaining appropriate staff levels. 

Maintain a professional work environment.

Other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

WSET level 1 or higer.

Wine Industry experience preferred (including restaurant; sommelier experience an asset)

A proven communicator who excels in verbal, interpersonal and customer service skills.

Experience in Wine Direct

Multi tasker who works well under pressure.

Available to work evenings, weekends and holidays

Able to stand and /or walk for long periods and to lift 40 lbs.

 

 

 

The qualified individual will be offered a wage based on experience. Benefits, gratuities and bonus are offered as well.
