Okanagan Crush Pad winery, located in Summerland, BC is seeking a candidate to fulfill the role of Direct-to-Consumer Wine Sales. The Direct-to- Consumer (DTC) manager will focus on OCP’s own brands and will act as a key contact to outreach existing wine club members and recruit new club members outside of the work done directly at the winery.
The successful candidate will report directly to winery operations and work closely with the Director of Sales & Promotions and the Hospitality Manager to coordinate the wine club outreach component of the job. The role requires someone experienced with internet marketing, internal and external sales in addition to a strong background in website management and e-commerce. This position requires a self-starter personality that is a team player able to work with minimal direct supervision.
Key Responsibilities
• Developing annual sales plan with case and dollar targets per month/quarter.
• Develop a business plan that point form outlines how targets will be achieved.
• Develop a target/contact list of corporations and key consumer influencers.
• Determine a calendar of products for feature along with a quarterly “feature” wine.
• Determine a reward program that acts as an incentive for club members to purchase beyond their annual case commitment.
• Set a series of small events and tastings for club members, corporate clients and key social influencers and execute those.

• Highly computer proficiency and high level of working knowledge using MS Office applications including PowerPoint
• Experience with e-commerce sales platforms and internet advertising.
• Wine knowledge an asset
Personal Requirements
• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
• Must enjoy working in a lively, energetic environment
• Has the ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and travel (includes overnight stays)
• Is physically able to lift and carry 45+ pounds repeatedly and able to build displays or handle heavy POS material
• Possess and maintain a valid Driver’s license
The role will be based in Summerland at Okanagan Crush Pad Winery. Compensation ranges between $50,000 and $65,000 and will be based on experience.
This is a full-time salaried position requiring 40 hours a week.
