Marketing Coordinator (Wine Jobs: Sales & Marketing)

Are you looking to expand your marketing experience and get into the thriving BC wine industry or take the experience you have to the next level? Okanagan Crush Pad Winery is looking for a full-time marketing coordinator, based from the wineries Summerland location. You will join a dynamic team dedicated to growing and producing high quality organic certified wines and work with four exciting and unique wine brands in addition to supporting our HQ Wine + Spirits team. This position will work closely with winery owner Christine Coletta, who has years of wine branding and marketing experience domestically and internationally. 

Potential candidates must have an understanding of the wine industry and have strong design skills along with social media and digital media skills.

Essential duties and responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office software, Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator/In Design and Constant Contact
  • 1 to 2 years minimum in the field of design, marketing and/or social media
  • Have a willingness to learn and expand base knowledge
  • Be a team player and contribute to building a positive workplace
  • Have a passion for marketing, social media and design
  • Professional presentation skills with the ability to interact effectively at all levels within the company and outside
  • Able to take initiative, while also being open to taking direction and accommodating executive decision
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and proof reading skills
  • Experience with D-SLR type cameras for photography
  • Able to lift up to 40 lbs

Broad Job Description

  • Plan, design, manage social calendar- should this say media?
  • Manage social media and online presence by posting content, engaging the audience, and monitoring analytics
  • Create and review weekly website content using WordPress
  • Create email blasts and manage contact lists using Constant Contact
  • Review articles for grammar, punctuation, style and tone
  • Manage administrative duties, such as ordering business cards, printing bios, preparing packages and ordering promotional goods
  • Revise existing materials to support the external sales reps, wine club and social media needs of the company and its represented wine brands
  • Live and breathe brand guidelines: be a brand ambassador ensuring that all work adheres to brand standards
  • Execute requests for design development, image retouching, etc.
  • Collaborate and brainstorm creative concepts with team
  • Manage multiple projects and timelines simultaneously with minimal supervision
  • Stay up to date with current design & photography trends, looking for fresh inspiration and innovation to bring to our brand creative
