You’re working for a small business in the agricultural sector so you should care about farming and the place of local food in the community. The nature of the work can be hard and thankless; you’ll be head-on with tasks that demand resources you don’t have. The reward is getting things done in these situations, and doing it well.

 

DURATION: now until mid-November/harvest end

HOURS:  Friday to Monday 9:30-5:30 until harvest, during harvest 40/week

DUTIES: tasting room/cellar work

QUALITIES: passion for food and wine / an understanding of the Okanagan wine industry / ability to labour / communication competence / professionalism 

EXPERIENCE: liquor service / WSET Level 1 / basic managerial work
