Vineyard Assistant/Tractor Operator (Wine Jobs: Vineyards & Cellars )

Lunessence Winery is looking for an integral addition to the vineyard team, with potential for additional cellar responsibilities. We require support in the vineyard with tractor operation and vine management. For the right candidate, this role ideally includes cellar and winemaking responsibilities during the harvest season.

The summary of the opportunity is as follows:

Main Job Duties:

  • Vine/trellis management
  • Tractor/spray application
  • Machinery and equipment maintenance
  • Property maintenance

Job Requirements

  • Pruning experience and/or willingness to learn new methods
  • Tractor experience or aptitude for equipment operation
  • Positive attitude
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ability and willingness to work flexible hours in the peak of the growing season
  • Sense of humor an asset but for the right individual willing to train

We are a small winery that has been farming organically since our launch in 2014 and with respect to our vineyard, we have been certified organic since 2020. On our estate we grow predominantly Pinot Noir, Riesling and Chardonnay with smaller quantities of Pinot Blanc, Gewurztraminer, Syrah and Merlot. Every year brings the new opportunity of working with other non-estate varietals as well. We look forward to hearing from all applicants.
