Each of them expresses very distinct terroir through the wines, despite being located mere kilometres apart.

As our Winemaker/Vineyard Manager, you are involved in all aspects of vineyard and cellar decision making including managing our 16 acres of vineyards and crafting, high quality, natural, terroir-driven wines. You are a brand ambassador for our winery and excel at building and managing a close team of workers. Your responsibilities will include:
Leadership responsibilities:
· Hire, train and manage all directly reporting employees
· Ensure a rigorous health and safety program for the vineyards and winery
· Set the tone for a positive and supportive company culture
Winemaker responsibilities:
· Determine the wine styles given the vintage and other factors
· Manage all cellar operations with a focus on quality and efficiencies
· Order all equipment and supplies
· Complete all government reporting required for production
Vineyard Manager responsibilities:
· Plan and manage all vineyard operations for optimal fruit quality and efficiency
· Plan and source additional contract fruit and manage contract vineyards as necessary
· Complete all government reporting required for the vineyards and harvest
Marketing responsibilities:
· Assist the Owner with internal and external wine education for consumers and employees
· Participate in events, both at the winery and in market, as required
· Assist in promotional activities as required
We are looking for someone who will align with our values of stewardship of the land, holistically farmed grapes, and expressive winemaking. The ideal candidate will have:
· A degree or diploma in winemaking. A similar degree in viticulture a definite asset
· Minimum of 3 years head winemaking experience
· Experience managing staff in vineyard and the cellar environments
· Experience with Pinot Noir and ancestral method sparkling wine production a must
· Experience with sustainable farming practices an asset
· Valid BC driver’s license
· Must be able to work legally in Canada
