Portfolio Manager, Delicato Family Wines (Wine Jobs: Sales & Marketing)

In close collaboration with internal stakeholders, the Delicato Portfolio Manager is responsible for identifying key selling opportunities, implementing consumer engaging campaigns, and managing resource planning in evolving market conditions. Reporting to the Vice President of Marketing, this role is directly accountable to Delicato Family Wines growth across Canada.

To be successful in this role, you must be a result driven, wine passionate individual with strong organization, trade marketing and business analytical skills. Potential candidates will have a competitive team spirit, genuine thirst for winning and a desire to work cross-functionally with all departments.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

·        Management of strategy and execution across all brands within the Delicato Family Wines National portfolio (including but not limited to Bota Box, Noble Vines, Gnarly Head, Three Finger Jack, 1924, Diora, Black Stallion, and Z Alexander Brown)

·        Governance of trade marketing programming, support, and expertise   

·        Management of national campaigns and overall brand awareness

·        Forecast reporting with scheduled revisions and quarterly business review presentations

·        Budget planning and accountability

·        Brand planning and strategy

·        Develop and execute fiscal business plans

·        Prepare, present and deliver results through quarterly business reviews

·        Analyze current market trends to determine growth opportunities for our brands

·        Other responsibilities as assigned

Position Requirements:

·        Self starter and highly motivated

·        Elevated proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel and PowerPoint specifically)

·        Ability to analyze and interpret data

·        Creative and innovative approach to business

·        Knowledge of brand marketing, design programs and an eye for simple design work

·        Strong organizational skills

·        Ability to meet tight deadlines

·        Excellent oral and written communication skills

·        Strong presentation skills

·        Beverage industry experience

·        WSET 2 is considered an asset

·        Drivers License is considered an asset

·        Occasional travel is required

·        Ability to lift/carry 40lbs occasionally
