This is an opportunity to become an important member of the highly-skilled and passionate 12-person team that is producing and distributing award-winning Izumi sake and sake-based cocktails in downtown Toronto’s Distillery District.
The Company:
In 2010 we established the first sake brewery in eastern North America, using traditional hand-crafted methods under the direction of a Japanese master brewer and in consultation with a venerable sake brewery founded in 1662. Now in our 12th year of operations, Izumi has become the top brand of sake in Ontario known for its high-quality, innovative and delicious products, enjoying strong and growing sales in the LCBO, licensee, online and own brewery store channels. Our plans include continued product innovation, market expansion into other provinces and the USA, and development of increased production capacity.
The Position:
The Sales & Production Coordinator will report to the Business Manager, and will be responsible for coordinating sales and production of our highest-selling products, working directly with suppliers, the LCBO, restaurant customers and all of our team members.
Requirements:
Some experience within the beverage alcohol, broader CPG or hospitality industries, together with a highly professional mindset are required for this position. Prior knowledge of sake, Asian culture and language proficiency would be highly useful to this role, as is relevant post-secondary education.
This position will include a salary of $40,000 p.a., and is eligible for our benefits program upon completion of 3 months of employment with us.
