We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Brand Manager, with very strong data analysis and interpersonal skills. Candidates will have a minimum of 2 years of previous agency experience (or Liquor Monopoly) and have a proven track record of success in growing and/ or launching Brands in Ontario. Experience in dual channel activity is a strong asset (LCBO retail and Private Import/ Consignment).
This individual will be part of a very close-knit and highly collaborative team, driven by the goal of continuous improvement.
Description
Manage a portfolio of incumbent wineries:
- Lead Agency contact with winery and LCBO
- Set, manage and execute on market strategy:
- Channel mix
- Price positioning
- A&P and budget management
- Benchmarking
- Set and manage allocations
- Forecasting and annual reviews with high-level insight and execution
- Commercial, category/product, consumer analysis to ensure longterm success
- Project management: ability to plan, organize, and execute accurately / on-time
Portfolio / Business Development:
- Identify market opportunities
- Pursue new suppliers
- Ultimately, drive incremental Agency revenue
You will already have experience with the following tasks:
- Lifecycle of LCBO purchases & NISS
- Preparing annual winery sales forecasts/reviews
- Inventory/sales tracking
- Presenting wineries at trade shows and industry events
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in a similar role
- University or College graduate, or equivalent
- WSET Level 3 minimum, ISG or an equivalent; genuine passion for wine / wine industry
- Excellent interpersonal skills; proven ability to support, collaborate with sales and operation teams
- Positive and enthusiastic attitude exhibiting team player and leadership qualities that bring out
- the best in those they work with. Takes initiative and possesses entrepreneurial drive for success.
- Ability to focus on multiple tasks and deadlines and effectively prioritize and manage them, while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
- Strong analytical skills and highly numerate
- Strong organizational, problem-solving and superior time management skills
- Competency with LCBO sale of data analysis (using Dig this Data or other) or comparable
- Excellent writing, presentation and communication skills (in English)
This is an in-office position. All candidates must be able to work in-office 4 days per week, with one flexible work from home day, per week.

This is a base salary plus annual bonus position, offering a performance-driven compensation structure:
$90K+ annual salary (commensurate with experience).
