Profile Wine Group, one of Canada’s premier wine agencies is currently seeking a results driven individual with working knowledge of LCBO business and marketing processes. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth and market share through successful General List product calls as well as other marketing initiatives. In addition, the successful candidate will be a team player, with a strong passion for wine. This is a one year contract position with opportunity to become full-time permanent at or prior to the expiration of the contract term.
Core Responsibilities:
· Manage General List product calls and NISS applications
· Source suppliers to meet product call requirements and divisional growth objectives
· Request & prepare delivery of wine samples and any LCBO related documentation; correspondence with suppliers and couriers
· Create commission and supplier bill back invoices
· Manage LCBO & GL inventory; daily tracking of LCBO purchase orders and levels using LCBO Narrowcast reporting
· Negotiate supplier pricing and product availability
· Liaise with suppliers regarding NISS application requirements
· Process General List applications for LCBO merchandising programs
· Generate various sales performance reports for senior management
· Work with Webmaster providing pricing, reviews, and product updates
Education & Experience:
· Previous experience using LCBO NISS software system
· Industry knowledge and an understanding of LCBO regulations and policies
· Minimum of 2 years progressive agency experience within the alcohol beverage industry
· Successful completion of WSET, ISG or industry related courses is an asset
· Post-Secondary education in marketing and/or sales related studies
Skills/Competencies
· Highly motivated self-starter with strong planning and organizational skills
· Ability to multi-task and succeed in a fast paced and demanding environment
· Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook
· Strong oral, written, and sales negotiation skills
· Ability to use technology to support daily sales activities. i.e. social media
