We are seeking a On-Premise Sales Manager for Ontario to join our On-Premise team.

Reporting into the Director, National On-Premise, this role is responsible for delivering sales and marketing objectives at Andrew Peller Limited’s On-Premise customers while developing a team of highly productive On-Premise Territory Managers across Ontario.  This role involves maximizing sales revenue and customer base, maintaining expenses and delivering EBITDA targets while ensuring a strategic, integrated business plan is in place and executed.

We are looking for a teammate with:

  • University or College degree
  • Minimum 5-7 years On Premise/Licensee experience required, 2 years in a leadership role
  • Proven leadership, strong selling skills, teamwork, strong work ethic and exceptional communication skills
  • WSET Level 2 or equivalent certification, WSET Level 3 or higher is an asset
  • Software: Word, Powerpoint, Excel, Outlook; Cognos knowledge an asset
  • Ability to travel

 

This teammate will be accountable for: 

  • Strong focus on driving topline revenue growth, market share and EBITDA objectives
  • Accurately provide sales forecasts in revenue and volume across all product segments
  • Work closely with the National On-Premise Director, Key Account Managers and Provincial Managers across Canada
  • Collaborate with Customer Solutions, Trade and Brand Marketing, Demand Planners, Order Management, Finance, and Estate Wine Group
  • Develop key relationships with opinion leaders and decision makers to establish APL presence and meet sales targets
  • Work with Key Account team to ensure seamless execution with key account partners
  • Achieve best in class trade results as measured by Coverage and in trade objectives (BTG, BTB and Features) in targeted on premise accounts
  • Research, develop, present, monitor and measure/communicate key performance indicators against business plan for the Ontario On-Premise sales channels
  • Work with Customer Solutions, Business Intelligence, and Marketing on sku development, inventory needs and allocation to customer level
  • Spearhead the development, execution, and post analysis of programs including distribution drives, BTG features, promotions and product launches; work with Trade marketing to identify opportunities for innovative programming that can be executed to drive awareness and sales for APL brands
  • Monitor, communicate and recommend solutions regarding competitor activities and developments to Director, National On-Premise, Trade Marketing Managers, and Brand Managers
  • Lead and develop a team of 5 On-Premise Territory Managers.
