We are in search of a dynamic and motivated team member to fill a one year contract. We are an unique company that is looking for a multi-talented individual to work in direct-to-consumer wine sales. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys challenges, can think on their toes, is keen to take initiative and solve problems, but also be a rockstar team player and communicator.

Hours: Varied, expected to work weekends and flex hours based on demand

Must possess the following qualities and attributes:

Proficiency with, or ability to quickly learn new software platforms

Excellent written and verbal communication

Positive nature, and be an inherent people pleaser

Attention to detail, while working in a fast paced and demanding environment

Self-starter and takes initiative, problem solver with little supervision

Strong understanding and working knowledge of social media platforms

Smart Serve Certification

** Important: Knowledge of provincial liquor laws and regulations, with a strong wine (and beer) background
The ideal team member will have a great ‘get up & go’ personality, willing to take on new challenges and opportunities as they come! The core functions of this position will include, but are not limited to: Customer Relations, Sales, Marketing, and Logistics.
Core responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

Relationship building with customers and partners

Manage promotional calendar

Site management - updating offers and product listings

Develop marketing initiatives and execute

Content creation: SM, Blog, wine reviews, email campaigns

Supervise fulfilment, monitor inventory and orders
-
Sales leads and meetings (local travel required - Niagara region)
As the key touch point for our team in Ontario, you will be responsible for overseeing the general, day to day operations of all activities. This includes addressing customer service issues, ensuring fulfilment is on schedule, sourcing product, contributing to marketing initiatives and producing wine-based content, as well as sales visits to local wine regions.
Additionally, you can expect to contribute to warehouse and retail operations, there is no shortage of things to do - only apply if you love being challenged and despise boredom! This is a perfect opportunity for a driven and dynamic individual to develop skills within the communications, wine, and DTC fields.
It is essential to have a comprehensive working knowledge of the following software platforms, or be eager at learning: Intercom, Basecamp, HubSpot, Jira, Zendesk and Mailchimp.
Beyond all, ability to present yourself and the company in a professional, but friendly and approachable manner. You are the first line of communication with customers and clients, and must convey a positive and helpful attitude at all times. We are a growing company that operates on a fast-pace.
