Key Duties and Responsibilities
· Establish a sales call cycle for 100 plus licensees
· Manage a portfolio of over 120 general list international wines, 6 Vintages Essentials, multiple Vintages releases, and a growing consignment program including craft spirits
· Focus on distribution of new products, priority brands, and leverage key LCBO programs in the on-trade channel
· Aggressively grow the market share and presence in the licensee side of the business by building quality partnerships that fit our portfolio of brands
· Think outside the box to find ways to bring our brands to life in the on-trade channel
· Attend and organize trade events with the focus of further promoting our brands and prospecting potential clients
· Manage a marketing support budget for the partners in the territory
· Analyze industry data and be able to interpret the information to build quality sales pitches and presentations for our brands, with a strong focus on ROI
· Report on a weekly basis to the Ontario On-Trade Director
Key Competencies
· Ability to present in front of multiple individuals in a professional manner, with a strong level of confidence
· Ability to develop and execute upon a target list of accounts and brands
· Ability to manage multiple priorities and focuses at a given time
· Strong knowledge of the industry and competitors within the industry
· This position is very initiative driven and a successful candidate will be expected to have the ability to lead and win all business initiatives
· A successful candidate will be gap focused, with an eagerness to learn and develop in an environment that is highly team oriented
· A successful candidate has a high level of discipline and ability to succeed in a system based on accountability
Qualifications
· University/Post Secondary Degree
· 2-3 years sales experience in a similar role (outside sales, FMCG)
· Previous sales experience in the Beverage alcohol industry is highly recommended
· Above average wine knowledge and educational background (WSET or CMS) is an asset
· Prior experience in the hospitality industry is an asset
