We are looking for a fast paced, results driven Toronto based individual with a passion and knowledge for the beverage alcohol industry. This position requires you to be organized, motivated and focused on the bigger picture for an overall provincial goal. Potential candidates would have a competitive team spirit, genuine thirst for winning and a desire to work cross-functionally with all sales and marketing in an administrative focused role.
Key Responsibilities:
· Prepare period Sell Sheets + bin tags
· VINTAGES sell sheets + rave review cards
· Ensure tasting notes are up to date
· Create Advertisements
· Create Neck Tags
· Create technical sheets
· Ensure bottle shots for General Listings are up to date on lcbo.com and on file
· Maintain / Update Price Lists
· Create Table Talkers for events & on-premise as required
· Create tastings cards – as needed for events
· Create tasting mats – as needed for masterclass
· LCBO/Brand Presentations layout/updates
· Miscellaneous on-premise and office requests
· Printing: Quotes, Approvals etc
· Supplier visits – assist in organising Winemaker Dinners
· In-Office tastings – organize as required, tasting mats, prices, etc
· Product/Brand events – brainstorm, plan and execute
· Liaise with outside event companies – site visits, branding, signage, scheduling etc.
· Book in-store tastings
· Provide tasting notes
· Discuss food pairings for each brand/product
· Create table talkers / signage and have sent to Evan / his reps
· Regularly send out wine samples to pre-approved media list
· Create relationships with influencers
· Create content / maintain Lifford’s social media: Instagram, Twitter, Facebook
Administrative and Sales Support
· Printing requests by sales representatives
· Code all invoices for Ontario including vendors, printing, broker, LCBO & others
· Knowledge of Liquor Control Board retail marketing program alternatives
· Brings to life the brand vision & crusade across a range of marketing and sales initiatives
· Knowledge of market, category, competitive set and consumer trends
· Direct to consumer connection planning (advertising, consumer engagement, social media, special events, etc.)
· Graphic design background would be considered an asset
· Microsoft Office Suite
· Demonstrated ability to communicate positively and work effectively with others
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to speak and present to key decisions makers, both internally and externally as required
· Must be a person of high integrity and commitment, with a strong work ethic
Other Requirements:
· Minimal travel is required
· Industry regularly goes beyond normal working hours
Qualifications:
· Minimum 3-5 years experience in Brand Management and Sales in the alcohol industry University Degree - Bachelor’s Degree (minimum requirement)
· Solid experience in brand planning and market/consumer research
· Strong commercial knowledge of the beverage alcohol industry
· Self-motivated and self-directed with the ability to work individually and as part of a collaborative team
· Language skills – French and/or Spanish an asset
