Job Description:
National Sales and Business Development Representative
LG Distribution is a newly established, national distributor of wine & spirits. We are currently seeking motivated sales individuals to represent our portfolio of alcoholic beveragesand expand our brands nationally.
Duties and Responsibilities
· Establishing sales with the intention to expand on premise and off-premise sales nationwide.
· Identify and map out retail sales target for each main product line.
· Set up and coordinate product specific sales strategies for all products.
· Develop and maintain market exposure of company products.
· Co-ordinate appointments and actively undertake in meetings with targeted clients.
· Administer all sales activities reporting to management
· Undertake regular meetings with on-premise and off premise clients for product sampling and sales.
· Assist in preparation and implementation of presentation of products at selected events
· Other duties as requested by management
In the National Sales and Business Development role you will have accountability of achieving set sales targets with various customers both large and small anywhere in Canada. You will work with customers to identify sales opportunities as well as help identify merchandising opportunities to draw customers to our products.
Applicants should possess a true fondness wine &spirits, have great communication and organizational skills, basic computer knowledge and a sincere commitment to customer service and follow-up.
Qualifications
· 2 - 5 years of sales and marketing experience / skills in the Alcoholic Beverage Industry
· High school graduation
· Bachelors or College diploma in Marketing, Sales or Business Administration. (preferred but not required)
· BC Driver Licence and car
· Deep understanding of wine and spirits(WSET lv 2 preferred but not required)
· Self-Starter
· Be able to lift 45lbs
· Fluent written and oral English language skills
· Outgoing personality, enjoys interacting with customers and clients
· Serving It Right (preferred but not required)
Working conditions
Job may include weekend and evening shifts during peak periods or during specific events. Will upon occasion involve some traveland needs to have the "Serving It Right" to serves drinks at events.
