Job Description:
Little Engine Wines is seeking professional and experienced sales and brand ambassadors for the Vancouver and Vancouver Island markets. The successful candidate will represent and grow a brand known for producing premium wine.
Our ideal candidate will be a self starter, have excellent sales and organizational skills and be professional in all aspects of representing a true artisan producer. We are seeking an individual for both the Vancouver and Vancouver Island markets. Compensation is 100% commissioned based allowing for agents with small portfolios to apply and allowing for flexibility in hours worked.
Role:
- Daily activities consist of meeting with sommeliers, key decision makers with resorts and hotels and both large and boutique retailers.
- Develop and execute promotions in both retail and restaurant accounts
- Attend and participate in events, training and meetings (zoom calls)
- Maintain client records, administrative follow-up and maintain activity log in our CRM software.
- Deliver and exceed on annual budget for assigned territory in terms of revenue and distribution
Do you have what it takes?
- Minimum 5+ years of sales experience in beer/wine/spirits industry.
- Established portfolio of clients willing to vouch on your professionalism
- A Completed Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, Commerce or related from a recognized institution is an asset
- Impeccable communication skills including influencing, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Organized with proven ability to multitask & manage time effectively
- Self-starter with a propensity to think outside of the conventional way of selling
- Able to work well independently
- Strong Computer skills including MS Office
- Available to travel and attend evening/weekend events as necessary
