We seek a proactive person to join a team as a Territory Manager servicing a large hybrid territory of liquor retail sales outlets (including Government and private stores) and restaurants. Covering Vancouver Island (Victoria to Nanaimo) with travel to the Gulf Islands, Tofino, Courtney/Comox, Campbell River and Powell River once per quarter for 3-5 days.

This job offers flexibility in schedule and will require some evening and weekend work for events and supplier visits which is planned well in advance.
Requirements for this position:
- Candidate to be based in Victoria and/or surrounding area
- Sales experience in beverage alcohol, consumer packaged goods, or other relatable and regulated industries
- Self starter and organized. Works well in both team environments and on their own
- Has a track record of setting achievable yet challenging goals and reaching set targets
- Develop and maintain a regular route call plan for all channels and accounts in the territory to work most efficiently
- Foster relationships with team mates, suppliers, store managers, buyers and key staff at accounts
- Maintain and increase product distribution by working with existing accounts and cold-calling new accounts where applicable
- Build long-term relationships with managers at restaurants to achieve listings and features of products by the glass, by the bottle and back bars
- Organize and execute product training sessions, often with you as the trainer
- Be comfortable conducting business in written and spoken English
- Have a working understanding of social media platforms
- Proficient at software programs such Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Power Point, Word and Outlook.
- Able to read and interpret sales statistics and data.
- This job requires moving equipment, supplies and lifting 18 kg/40 lbs.
- Full‐time access to a reliable vehicle and a valid and unimpeded B.C. Driver’s License
- Valid and unimpeded passport
