Established 1n 1975 David Herman & Son is a family business importing and distributing wines and spirits in western Canada.
We are looking for individual with passion, knowledge and who is highly motivated, calling on government BCLDB stores, Private beer and wine stores and key restaurants and hotels.
Postion Profile:
Maintains, develops and grows the business in all sales channels.
Actively solicits and builds new relationships to increase sales volumes and identify new business in all channels.
Develops weekly plan of calls and targets specific customers.
Organizes and participates in marketing events to support brands being promoted.
Keeps account of expenses and promitional samples.
Position Requirements:
- Proven track record of success in similar role with 2-3 years of on premise or wine trade sales experience.
- Wine Knowledge considered an asset WSET 1 or 2
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
- Strong planning, time management and organization skills
- Be able to lift 18kg (case of wine)
- Be able to stand for a few hours at wine shows and other promotional activities.
Compensation for this position will be commensurate with the experience and skill set you bring to David Herman & Son and will consist of salary, commission, plus expenses.
