POSITION SUMMARY:

Legacy Liquor Store’s Ecommerce Manager’s duties include but are not limited to: managing and overseeing logistics of web sales, phone orders, and deliveries; managing, training and overseeing Ecommerce Team; assisting Store Manager with recruitment and hiring of Ecommerce support staff; analyzing sales history and trends; assisting Marketing and Promotions Team to strategize online sales programing; managing, developing, and providing exceptional customer service; and assisting management in supervising daily store operations.

KEY DELIVERABLES / RESULTS:

·         Managing, developing, and overseeing logistics of all web sales and phone orders, including delegating to support staff, verifying orders are accurate, and ensuring deliveries are completed on time.

·         Liaison with inhouse delivery service as well as various couriers to ensure deliveries are completed accurately and in a timely fashion

·         Assisting in managing, and developing key support staff within the department

·         Working closely with existing corporate and specialty clients to ensure their needs are met

·         Maintain Legacy standards of service and professionalism

·         Practice excellent time management, prioritization, and delegation to ensure all necessary tasks are completed 

·         Maintaining product knowledge and providing on-trend and appropriate advice and suggestions 

·         Dealing with any issues / conflicts in a manner that reflects Legacy’s service standards and our commitment to our guests’ experience

·         Actively working to prevent guest complaints and practicing early-intervention to resolve them

·         Able to safely lift 50lbs

 

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

 

●     Strong command of Microsoft Office Programs

●     High attention to detail

●     Self-motivation and strong work ethic

●     Ability to work under pressure with tight timelines

●     Familiarity with BC liquor laws

●     Computer/POS proficiency

●     Excellent problem-solving skills

●     Excellent professional presentation and communication skills—additional language(s) an asset

●     SIR Certification

●     Cash / credit card handling experience

 

WORKING CONDITIONS:

 

Located in Vancouver’s popular Olympic Village, Legacy is one of BC busiest private liquor stores. Candidate must be comfortable working in a busy environment, standing for long periods of time, repeatedly lifting cases of wine, beer, and spirits (up to 20 kg), be comfortable kneeling, bending, and climbing ladders. Shifts required include days, nights, weekends, holidays, and possible travel.
