(Wine Jobs:
Sales & Marketing)
Part Time
Marquis Wine Cellars
Vancouver,

The purpose of this advertisement is to get you to contact me. You see, at the moment I have no idea who you are or what your name is. But I do know the sort of person you are and I know the sort of aspirations you have in life. I also know the level of skill you have and that you want to get better and better at your work. I know you want more than a job, you want a career.
I know that you want more training and you want to have the opportunity to develop. I know that you have the desire to learn, and the driving ambition to be the best. But above all, I know that you have a commitment to excellence and a deep need to provide your customers with quality service.
Established in 1986, Marquis Wine Cellars is B.C.'s premier full service wine shop that carries an extensive selection of wines from all major wine producing areas of the world.
Duties will include, but are not limited to, planning, coordinating and executing both in-store and off-site wine events and planning and executing the relevant social media campaigns to promote these events and other marketing programs for the store. This will be done through a combination of in-store materials, on-line materials and social media sites.
Since Marquis Wine Cellars deals directly with the public, people skills are a must. I am looking for someone friendly and out-going, who understands the finer points of a positive, consumer-oriented retail environment and who can help grow our brand and customer loyalty by executing amazing events. I am looking for someone who can work in a team environment while putting their own individual stamp on this role.
Preference will be given to those with event planning and wine knowledge.
