Logistics & Marketing Coordinator
Grand Cru Imports is a Vancouver based wine agency that focuses on selling quality European and Californian wines. By representing multiple brands of prestige, Grand Cru aims to bring the best wines while keeping value in mind. Our main intention is to present rare, treasured, and other exceptional/unique wines to the Canadian on and off premise market.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Logistics & Marketing coordinator for our Vancouver office.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage and ship samples/marketing material/POS to sales teams and liquor boards
- Update inventory reports weekly for BC and Alberta ensuring the highest attention to detail reporting vintages
- Organizing and maintaining samples in the office ensuring there is the appropriate amount of each wine.
- Issue Purchase Orders for multiple suppliers and organize pick-ups and receiving with freight forwarding services in BC/AB
- Submit inter-provincial POs and transfers often with very strict deadlines
- Communicate with freight forwarders and the Liquor Boards in each province
- Order samples from suppliers for new products/vintages ensuring all paperwork is accurately submitted to the custom broker
- Ensure scores are up to date on inventory
- Submit and ensure all pricing forms are updated
- Pull monthly sales reports and competitive stats for all provinces
- Respond and support the sales team with all inventory/logistics requests
- Inside marketing: including weekly email releases, social media updates, and event coordination
Requirements
- Supply chain/forecasting experience preferred; but, not necessary.
- Basic understanding of wine.
- 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Previous experience in the liquor industry is an asset.
