Logistics Coordinator (Wine Jobs: Management & Administration)

We are seeking a full-time Logistics Coordinator to support the Logistics Manager in all day-to-day operations. This role seeks a self-motivated individual who enjoys a dynamic, fast-paced working environment. The right candidate thrives in a variety of roles and excels in organization and collaboration with coworkers and external partners. 

Key Responsibilities & Activities: 

  • Coordinate with suppliers and freight forwarders 
  • Oversee and ensure seamless cooperation with provincial liquor boards and third-party warehouse teams
  • Confirm product is timely in receivership through to storage, availability, and order fulfilment
  • Process and manage domestic shipping

The role will involve responsibility for logistics, domestic and international imports, as well as helping complete/manage the following:

  • Maintain excellent relation and communication with brokers, suppliers, freight forwarders and government officials
  • Brand, product, and pricing registrations
  • Import/export documentation and customs compliance 
  • Inbound receipts of wine and invoice tracking
  • Organize inbound samples
  • Tracking inbound/outbound delivery schedules
  • Facilitate and trace interprovincial transfers
  • Inventory management
  • Assist the sales team with inventory and logistics related matters
  • Manage clients across the spectrum of warehouse and logistics services
  • Coordinate couriers 

To Be Successful in This Role You Will Need:

  • Knowledge of wine and experience in the liquor industry is preferred
  • Strong IT and analysis skills including proficiency with Excel  
  • Experience with international and domestic shipping
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Superb attention to detail
  • Faculty to prioritize and plan under pressure within strict timelines
  • Comfortable working within both team and independent environments
  • Ability to build effective relationships at all levels with internal and external stakeholders 
  • Proven track record in a fast paced, customer focused environment
  • Adaptable and eager for ongoing development

Salary:  Competitive - based on experience
