About the Role
We are seeking a strategic, hands-on National Procurement Manager to lead our procurement operations and oversee the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process across Canada. Reporting to the National Director of Supply Chain, this role plays a critical part in aligning purchasing strategies with commercial goals, sales forecasts, and inventory needs ensuring the right products are delivered to the right markets, on time.
This is a highly collaborative role, working cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Logistics to drive efficiency, cost transparency, and supply chain excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the national S&OP process, aligning demand, supply, and inventory planning across regions
- Translate sales forecasts into strategic procurement plans across our global supplier network
- Oversee end-to-end procurement operations, including PO management, shipment tracking, and reconciliation
- Optimize national and provincial inventory levels while balancing availability, cost control, and demand
- Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to support promotional timelines, product launches, and retail programming
- Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and 3PL partners to streamline inbound logistics
- Maintain accurate landed cost data to support pricing and margin strategies
- Ensure compliance with CBSA and provincial liquor board regulations (e.g., BCLDB, NSLC)
- Manage and enhance procurement systems and data integrity, with a focus on Microsoft Business Central
- Drive continuous improvement across procurement, planning, and supply chain operations
What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years of leadership experience in procurement, demand planning, or S&OP—ideally in the wine, beverage alcohol, or CPG sectors
- In-depth understanding of international procurement, logistics, and liquor board regulations
- Proficiency with ERP systems (preferably Microsoft Business Central or Dynamics NAV)
- Strong skills in forecasting, inventory optimization, and cross-functional project coordination
- Excellent analytical thinking, communication, and organizational skills
- Advanced Excel proficiency and experience with supply chain data tools
- A genuine passion for wine and the industry is a strong asset
