In close collaboration with internal stakeholders and suppliers, the Portfolio Manager is responsible for identifying business opportunities and resource planning & selection within the evolving market conditions. Reporting to the Marketing Director, this is a key contributing role in national targets (to sell) and grow awareness of our world class portfolios.
To be successful in this role, you must be a result driven, wine & spirits passionate individual with strong organization and business analytical skills. Potential candidates would have a competitive team spirit, genuine thirst for winning and a desire to work cross-functionally with all departments.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Management of brand awareness
· Product forecasts with scheduled revisions
· Brand planning and strategy
· Budget planning and accountability
· Develop and execute fiscal business plans
· Prepare, present and deliver results through quarterly business reviews
· Analyze current market trends to determine growth opportunities for our brands
· Other responsibilities as assigned
Position Requirements:
· Self starter and highly motivated
· Elevated proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel and PowerPoint specifically)
· Ability to analyze and interpret data
· Creative and innovative approach to business
· Knowledge of design programs and an eye for simple design work
· Strong organizational skills
· Ability to meet tight deadlines
· Excellent oral and written communication skills
· Strong presentation skills
· Beverage industry experience
· WSET 2, or equivalent an asset
In accordance with the Pay Transparency Act, the expected base salary range for this position is $75,000 to $90,000 per year. Compensation and benefits commensurate with experience.
