Summary of the position
The Sales and Logistic Coordinator is mainly responsible for administratively support the introduction of new products, and support the brand, sales and marketing management for the region in sales reporting, updating data, sales tools availability and accuracy.
Primary role and key responsibilities
· Handle warehousing problems with third party, in accordance with the contract;
· Support the Brand and Trade marketing manager to ensure availability of products on location according to the promotional plan;
· Ensure a seamless introduction of new producers and new products with the liquor boards from an administrative standpoint (forms, prices, labeling, delivery schedule, on site availability etc.), act as the point of contact with the liquor boards for related matters;
· Execute the introduction of new products in the system and update sales tools accordingly;
· Update client’s data base, prepare reports and do other clerical tasks as required;
· Update sales tools and price lists in a timely manner when price changes occur;
· Ensure customs’ regulations are met and the paperwork (shipping bill, invoice, certificate of origin, chemical analysis, permit etc.) is done as required by law for samples shipped to or from the region;
· Troubleshoot and solve any logistic issues or difficulty in a cost-effective manner.
· Escalate logistics and costs impact issues regarding overall international shipping or related matters, that he or she becomes aware, to the Manager Logistics, Shipping and Stock at head office;
· Maintain good business relationships with brokers, government officials, shipping supervisors (dispatch) etc.
· Participate in special events such as wine tastings or commercial fairs as required;
· Execute any other task assign from time to time.
Requirements
· Undergraduate studies in logistic or administration;
· 1 or 2 year in similar position;
· Experience dealing with customs is an asset;
· Experience dealings with the imports of alcoholic beverages is an asset;
· English (written /spoken)
· Microsoft Office Suite (intermediate Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
· Valid BC Drivers License and access to a vehicle
· Ability to lift 30 lbs
