Role Overview

This is your opportunity to break into the exciting world of wines & spirits!

This role supports the Sales, Marketing and Brand Management teams in an administrative function. The core responsibilities include order desk coordination, Provincial liquor board’s registrations/documentation, Website maintenance and production of marketing materials. This a 1 year maternity leave position with the opportunity to expand to full time at it’s conclusion.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

 BC Order Desk

-        Receive, Submit and respond to customer orders (Phone & Email)

-        Update price sheets

-        Tracking product allocations

-        Generating purchase orders

-        Tracking samples 

Sales

-        Managing compliances

-        New product registrations

-        Coordinate tenders from BCLDB

-        Coordinate with Logistics on new products

-        Update Western Canadian pricelists

Marketing

-        Printing & distribution of shelf talkers & neck tags & price books & other creative materials

-        Work on our internal product tracker

-        Media monitoring & adding accolades to website

-        Pricebook updates

-        Updating Family sell sheets & LTO sheets

Job Requirements

·      Post-secondary education from a recognized College or University

·      A passion for the wine/ food & beverage industry is a must

·      Team player mindset, a positive attitude, and an eagerness to learn

·      Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; thrives in a deadline-oriented environment

·      Ability to prioritize and reprioritize tasks on an ongoing basis to ensue deadlines are met and efficiencies are made.

·      Solid understanding of Microsoft Office and Adobe Suites. Experience with InDesign is an asset but not required.

·      Flexibility to attend/work industry events outside of the regular working hours
