Sales and Marketing Coordinator (Wine Jobs: Sales & Marketing)

Appellation Wine Marketing, a leading wine, spirits and specialty beverage sales and marketing agency is currently recruiting for a Sales and Marketing Coordinator based in Vancouver.  Launched in 2009, Appellation represents leading wine estates from British Columbia and around the world including Burrowing Owl, Quails Gate, Michael David Winery and Rocca delle Macie as well as a portfolio of category leading specialty beverages from Canada Dry Motts.

We are looking for a detailed, results oriented administrative professional who enjoys multi-tasking and working in a fast-paced environment. Working as part of a team, our Sales and Marketing Coordinator supports our Territory Managers and supplier partners achieve their targets for the British Columbia and Alberta markets.

Key Responsibilities include:

·         Generating, managing, and distributing sales materials

·         Generating, managing, and distributing price portfolios

·         Generating, managing, and distributing event materials

·         Preparing listing and promotional submissions for the BCLS and Alberta Chain retailers

·         Maintaining promotional and pricing plan calendars

·         Managing consumer tasting programs

·         Managing and distributing product samples

·         Inside sales liaison with our British Columbia supplier partners

Skills and Experience

·         University degree or diploma in Sales and Marketing

·         Previous experience in beverage alcohol or consumer packaged goods

·         Excellent written and verbal communication skills

·         Superior presentation skills

·         Highly organized

·         Strong analytical skills

·         Demonstrated ability to achieve results working with cross-functional teams

·         Strong understanding of graphic design and print production

·         Demonstrated proficiency working with Microsoft Office, Publisher, and Adobe Illustrator

·         Valid driver’s license

·         Wine knowledge including understanding of grape growing and winemaking processes and knowledge of the world's most important wine regions a plus

·         ISG/WSET credentials a plus
