Charton Hobbs, Canada’s largest privately held wine & spirits importer, is currently seeking a qualified candidate to join our B.C. Sales Team. This role focuses on on-premise accounts in Vancouver and Whistler, with a small grouping of boutique wine stores. This is a full-time position reporting to the B.C. Sales Manager.
In this role you will work with exciting and prestigious brands such as, Dom Pérignon, Veuve Clicquot, Famille Perrin, Cakebread, and many more. In addition to managing the assigned territory you will be working closely with our marketing and sales teams to assist in the execution of trainings and events. There will be set KPI’s and targets consistent with the make-up of this territory. Responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:
· Territory sales and management; on-premise and retail
· Event planning and execution
· Staff and consumer trainings and tastings
· On-premise sales strategy and activity planning and execution
· Territory analysis and development
The successful candidate must be self-disciplined, driven, and energetic. Knowledge of the alcohol industry is necessary, and sales experience is an asset. Applicants with WSET Level 3 or equivalent will be given preference. Other important skills and traits for this role include:

Candidates must have a vehicle, valid driver’s license, and passport.
Availability for evening and weekend work is required as well as ability to travel out of Country on occasion.
