Position Overview:
AmoVino is looking for a full-time sales representative for our import and B.C. wines in the Kootenay area to join our growing team of passionate wine lover’s in selling niche and natural wines. We will train the right candidate who must have related wine experience.
Job Description:
To actively sell and support AmoVino wines within your territory in Government, LRS, and on-premise accounts including help organize and execute marketing initiatives, tasting events and wine makers dinners with the goal of increasing sales and brand recognition through storytelling and personal relationships.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Utilize your personable and entrepreneurial skills to develop account relationships and further enhance our industry as a whole
· Help develop your territory and work towards your monthly sales target with sales calls and marketing activities, events.
· Submit call report sheets and inform managers of wins, losses and new opportunity
Job Requirements:
· Experience: Minimum 2 years of Wine Experience, sales -related history, WSET or equivalent is an asset.
· Skills: Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must be self-motivated, highly organized, and a positive problem solver. Should be comfortable using Microsoft Office (Word/Excel) as well as Social Media (Facebook, Instagram). Must be able to multi-task and work independently.
· Knowledge: Working knowledge of the sales of wine and spirits.
· Physical: Must be able to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and travel (includes overnight stays). Must be physically fit and be able to lift and carry 20lbs.
· Other: Must possess and maintain a valid Driver’s license in British Columbia and be able to travel occasionally.
