Trade Marketing Manager (Wine Jobs: Sales & Marketing)

Who we are looking for:

Due to an internal promotion, we are looking for the right candidate to manage our Trade Marketing efforts in British Columbia. The Marketing Manager will report to the Vice President of Sales, or her designate and work in close collaboration with BC Sales to plan, manage and analyze all Trade promotions and return on investment.

To be successful in this role, you must be a result driven, wine passionate individual with strong organization and business analytical skills. Potential candidates would have a competitive team spirit, genuine thirst for growth and a desire to work cross-functionally with all departments.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

·         Quarterly program/sales meeting creation

·         Management of special events

·         Product forecasts with scheduled revisions

·         Marketing plans and strategies

·         Budget planning and accountability

·         Trade program execution

·         Sales material creation, updates, and circulation

Position Requirements:

·         Self starter and highly motivated

·         Elevated proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel and PowerPoint specifically)

·         Beverage industry experience

·         Knowledge of design programs and an eye for simple design work

·         Strong organization skills

·         Ability to meet tight deadlines

·         Excellent oral and written communication skills

·         Strong presentation skills

·         Ability to lift/carry 40lbs regularly

·         WSET 2, or equivalent an asset

Compensation and benefits commensurate with experience within a base salary range of $55,000 to $85,000. Business related expenses are also covered.
