In the role of Marketing Manager, Magnotta Winery Corporation in Vaughan, you will be part of the Marketing team and working with great people across our organization to deliver and lead the development of Magnotta brands and marketing initiatives.

This position reports to the CEO and Marketing Director and works closely with the Marketing team.

 Develop, establish and maintain marketing strategies to meet organizational objectives. Effective management of the marketing, advertising and promotional activities of the organization.

 

•  Business or marketing-related degree or equivalent professional qualification.
• 3-5 years of relevant work experience in alcohol industry, retailing, advertising, marketing or merchandising environment.
• Experience in all aspects of developing and managing marketing strategies.
• Team management experience.
• Technical marketing skills.
• Proven experience in customer and market research.
• Relevant product and industry knowledge including packaging and industry related regulations.
• Strong written communications skills.
• Detail oriented.
• Digital marketing skills and experience.
• A great eye for design or previous graphic design/skills exposure will be an asset.
• Experience with relevant software skills.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills in order to effectively source information, obtain approvals, build relationships, and provide sufficient influence to achieve success.
• Driven to continuously improve, aptitude for learning, ability to lead a team and willingness to mentor.
• 4+ years experience in digital marketing including traditional marketing.
• Strong knowledge and experience in content development and social media platforms.
• Proven social media buying experience.
• Maintain and update areas of the company website.
• Proficiency with online marketing and social media strategy.
• Experience with digital marketing budget and deliver digital marketing activity with agreed budget.
• Familiarity with designing interactive applications and networking platforms.
• Experience with SEO, SEM, Microsoft Office/Outlook/Excel/PP, graphic programs such as: Adobe, Photoshop, CRM software.
