The Foreign Affair Winery is seeking energetic and motivated individuals to work during the 2018 harvest season. Typically, our harvest season will run from late September to January 2019, with the possibility of extending until March due to later appassimento fermentations. Working closely with the winemaker and assistant winemaker, responsibilities will include berry sampling, lab analysis, all aspects of cellar work from receiving and processing fruit, to cap and fermentation management and general duties associated with winemaking. The successful candidates should expect to work long hours when required during harvest and be able to lift 50 pounds. Previous winery experience and lift-truck certification are preferred.
The Foreign Affair Winery is a boutique winery, producing 12K cases of premium wines annually. We are the first winery in North America to produce all of our wines (red and white) in the rich appassimento style.
