Megalomaniac Wines is a winery in Vineland, Ontario producing VQA white, red, rose and sparkling. With 68 acres of estate vineyard on the Twenty Mile bench appellation.  We are a tight-knit team looking for an energetic addition in our cellar.  It's a job with lots of opportunities to learn a wide variety of skills. Start date ASAP.  The ideal candidate would have at least 2 vintages experience (international an asset.)  

Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

 - General cellar activities such as rackings, transfers, blending and pad filtration.
 - Clean and sanitize tanks, hoses, pumps and other equipment
 - Additions
 - Barrel work including filling, topping and cleaning
 - Bottling and sparkling tirage activities 
 - Harvest (crush pad/cellar operations) at that time of year

Requirements:

- Ability to meet physical demands of position including lifting up to 50lbs, standing for long periods of time, working outside in varying weather conditions, comfortable with heights and confined spaces.

- Ability to work well in a team
- Having transportation to work.
- Must be able to work long and flexible hours at harvest time.
- Must be legally permitted to work in Canada

Can be an asset:

- Forklift experience
- Confined space training
- OSHA approved First Aid any level
- Lab experience
- Formal wine education
