Viticulture Technician Trainer

 

Looking for a dynamic trainer with a strong background in viticulture who can educate and train new students on vineyard management techniques.

 

The training location will take place at Vinoscenti Vineyards in Surrey.

 

Duties would include:

·      Leading both in class as well as practical hands on activities in viticulture management

·      Training students on vineyard preparation, grape production, vine physiology, soil composition, planting, water management, identifying grape diseases and protection, winter protection, pruning techniques, irrigation, identifying pests

·      Ability to engage students in interactive lively discussions

·      Ability to observe and ensure students properly apply taught techniques in a safe manner

 

Experience would include:

·      Degree or diploma in Wine, Oenology and Viticulture, Horticulture, Biology or substantial experience in winemaking and vineyard work

·      Proven experience in Vineyard Operations

·      Teaching background or proven ability to lead and train others

 

Desired attributes:

·      Excellent organizational and time-management skills

·      Strong interpersonal skills; exceptional communication skills

·      Highly engaging lecturer/trainer who can interact and train students with various learning styles

 

 

Training starts Aug 24^th-Oct 30^th and offers flexibility around instruction times.
