We are a small winery in Prince Edward County with 65 acres of planted vines including Pinot Noir, Gamay, Cab Franc, Pinot Gris, Chardonnay & Riesling. We are looking for a winemaker to produce VQA reds, whites, roses, blends, sparkling and fortified wines. The winemaker will work closely with our vineyard manager to produce high quality grapes and wines. 

The winemaker will be repondible for all day to day winemaking operations including but not limited to:

- Co-ordinate and manage production and quality control, from grape to finished bottled wine product.

-operate cellar day to day and carry out barrel operations.

-operate winery equipment (press, de-stemmer, bottling line, pumps etc.)

-operate a forklift

- Perform laboratory analysis

-Ensure compliance with Federal & provincial regulations.

- Oversee the vinification process

Qualifications include:

- Minimum 3 year industry hands-on winemaking experiance.

-Enology degree from a recognized university.

- Physically fit.

- Hard working and detail oriented.

Salary and benefits will be according to experience.
