Events Sales Coordinator (1 Year Contract)

Reporting to the Director of Business Development, our Events Sales Coordinator will help create memorable experiences that last a lifetime. Our unforgettable winery destinations are the top choice for celebrations, executive retreats, weddings, meetings, and more. As our Events Sales Coordinator you will be directly responsible for coordinating and assisting with the daily functions of the Event Sales Team.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Manage distribution of all sales inquiries including website/Triple Seat, direct phone, and winery inboxes
- Prepare all corporate contracts and support client correspondence
- Manage all internal events coordination
- Liaise with vendors for AV, hotel, and rentals as required for event execution
- Coordinate all event meeting agendas and distribution of minutes
- Participate in site inspections, familiarization tours, tradeshows, and functions within the wineries as required
- Compile and input market intelligence information and maintain client database and event tracking
- Assist Director, Business Development with preparation of all itineraries for media, VIP, and Industry guests
- Work closely with each property at the winery level to support the planning of all logistics for successful execution of Wine Club events, experiences, and more
What You Bring:
- 1+ years experience in a hospitality environment
- Diploma or Degree in Business, Hospitality/Tourism, Event Planning, or related
- Demonstrated ability to work across functions, business units, and geographies
- Effective business systems thinker with a strong understanding of business process knowledge
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects at one time
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong stakeholder management focus
- Proven ability to deal effectively with others in a diverse environment
Bonus Points:
- Completion of WSET 2 or equivalent an asset
- Experience with catering management software considered an asset
