Mission Hill Family Estate Winery is recruiting flexible, energetic, and motivated employees to assist with seasonal/casual work in producing world class wines in one of the Okanagan’s largest and most sophisticated wine production facilities. The job will entail many aspects of wine production including packaging, cellar work, cleaning, general labour, and grape processing.

A Unique Opportunity: Mission Hill Family Estate Winery is recruiting flexible, energetic, and motivated employees to assist with seasonal/casual work in producing world class wines in one of the Okanagan’s largest and most sophisticated wine production facilities. The job will entail many aspects of wine production including packaging, cellar work, cleaning, general labour, and grape processing.
This seasonal casual position requires that you have a flexible schedule and shifts are “on-call”, varying between days, afternoons, and some graveyards from mid-August until mid-November, or as required.
You are committed to working in a safe and professional manner at all times. You bring a strong work ethic and have experience working in wineries, production, or in a warehousing environment. Working conditions vary, but you must be comfortable working in the general plant, warehouse, outdoor receiving areas, and damp cellar conditions. Most importantly you are a positive and enthusiastic team player.
Who you are...
- 2+ years of general labour experience in a production or manufacturing environment
- Ability to multi-task, work independently and with a team in a fast-paced, high volume environment with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness
- Have a valid SIN or work permit number
- Physically fit, able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis, navigate stairs, stand for extended periods of time
- Must have an excellent standard of safety, work performance, and attendance
- Able and willing to work indoors and outdoors in varying environments and conditions
- Able to work at heights and in confined spaces
- Available for all days and shifts, including weekends, evenings, and graveyards
Bonus points…
- Production and/or safety-specific certifications
- Fork Lift Operator’s Certificate
- Level III Industrial First Aid
- Previous experience working in harvest in a large production facility
- Passion for wine and wine production
